Pastor Michael Herron

Pastor Michael Herron received the call of God after seven years of faithful service in youth ministry and worship at Believers International Church. Obedient to the voice of God, he and First Lady Mal planted Purpose Church of Denton beginning with a single home Bible study. On their very first night, Pastor Mike was led to deliver a word about Purpose — and Purpose Church was born.

His anointed leadership, heart for people, and uncompromising commitment to the Word of God have guided Purpose Church through over a decade of Spirit-filled ministry and growth.

First Lady Mal Herron

First Lady Mal Herron has been a cornerstone of Purpose Church since its very first night. Serving alongside Pastor Mike as a gifted Praise and Worship Leader before the founding of Purpose Church, her heart for God's people and her deep commitment to worship helped shape the spiritual culture of Purpose Church from day one.

First Lady Mal leads with grace, love, and a genuine care for every member of the Purpose Church family. She continues to lead the Praise & Worship ministry with anointing and joy.
